The conflict between Israel and Palestine is entering a new phase. A land invasion by Israeli forces into the Gaza Strip is very possible. Meanwhile, regimes supporting Hamas, namely Iraq and Syria, are sending aid. They are using Russian infrastructure to do this.

The escalation of the war between Israel and Palestine could lead to large-scale conflict in the Middle East region. Israeli territories have already been bombarded with Hezbollah missiles, fired from parts of Lebanon.

Hamas is also preparing for support from allies in Iran and Syria. The regimes from Tehran and Damascus are sending more fighters to battle Israel's regular army in case of a potential ground operation.

It is important to note that the Russian military infrastructure is being used to support Hamas, which operates in Syria.

Military deployments are being carried out by the Russian base Humaymim, which is located near Latakia.

This is one of the most important air bases, which served the Russians in actions during the Syrian civil war, supporting the regime of Bashar al-Assad.

It should be emphasized that the base is still managed by the Russian air forces and is the main center of Russian military operations in the region.

What do the data from the airspace show?

Where does the information about operations from the Russian base come from? Journalists analyzed air traffic in the vicinity of the airport in Latakia. Julian Roepcke of Bild noticed that after planes from Syria, Iran is also using the airport managed by the Russian army.

In the conflict, which escalated last week, a few thousand people have already perished.
