Yoni Saadon was among the handful who managed to escape the Hamas-led attack a few months ago at a festival in Israel. In his conversation with the "Sunday Times", the 39-year-old vividly detailed the harrowing experiences endured by the captured women. How did Saadon Survive the Hamas Attack?

Yoni Saadon, along with hundreds of other Israelis, chose to participate in the Nova Festival situated a few miles away from the wall separating the Gaza Strip. Unbeknownst to them, a horrific ordeal awaited their celebrations just after sunrise.

Nearly 3,500 rockets were launched by Hamas towards the area where the Israelis were reveling. The terrorists, devoid of any regard for human life, sprang surprise attacks from all directions. Only a select few, including the 39-year-old Saadon, managed to escape.

During an interview, Saadon revealed that his survival came down to hiding under the stage. Tragically, a woman who followed suit was discovered by the terrorists and subsequently shot.

"Every night, I wake up and apologize to her in my thoughts, begging for her forgiveness," shared the 39-year-old.

Thinking on his feet, Saadon covered himself in her blood and feigned death, a decision that likely saved his life.

Hamas terrorists showed no mercy for women

In a desperate attempt to escape, Saadon bore witness to shocking scenes of cruelty that continue to haunt his memory.

"A beautiful woman with an angelic face was surrounded by eight or ten men who ruthlessly assaulted and violated her. She pleaded, 'stop! I will die from what you're doing, just kill me already!' After they were done, they laughed and shot her in the head," Saadon recounted.

Tragically, this was just one instance of the brutal crimes committed by Hamas terrorists. Cries for help echoed from all around. Saadon spoke of noticing two other assailants who had taken another woman hostage.

"They threw her on the ground, one of the terrorists picked up a shovel and beheaded her. I can't erase the image of her severed head rolling on the ground," he said.
