With shrimp on rice nests, your guests will be momentarily speechless with delight
Ingredients:
Main ingredients:
- 8 raw shrimp,
- 10.6 oz of rice noodles,
- 1/3 cup of water,
- 1/5 cup of heated vegetable oil.
Sauce:
- 5 cloves of garlic,
- 2 red chili peppers,
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce,
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce,
- 1/4 cup of heated vegetable oil.
Method:
Step 1. Begin the recipe by preparing the shrimp. After cleaning, make a small cut in each shrimp then weave the tail to give it an interesting shape.
Step 2. Set the shrimp aside while you prepare the homemade sauce. For this, finely chop the chili peppers and garlic cloves. Then, mix them with the soy and oyster sauces. After mixing, add the heated oil and stir thoroughly.
Step 3. Next, prepare the rice noodles. Pour boiling water over them and let them sit, covered, for 5-10 minutes. The exact time may vary depending on the noodles' thickness. Once done, separate them into smaller portions and shape them into small nests.
Step 4. Place the nests in a pan and arrange the prepared shrimp in the center of each. Next, pour water into the dish.
Step 5. There's more! Around each shrimp, spread the homemade sauce. Cover the pan only after adding this final touch and cook the dish for about 8-10 minutes.
Step 6. Upon removing the lid, add the heated oil and finely chopped peppers to the pan. And there you go, bon appétit!
