These cookies are a sweet surprise with an irresistible strawberry inside. They look adorable, and their taste makes everyone melt with delight. You can serve them to your kids, bring them to a meeting with friends, take them to work, or even treat the pickiest mother-in-law. After one bite, everyone says, "Wow," and then you only hear requests for the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz soft butter
  • 0.7 oz powdered sugar
  • 1.5 tsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 28 oz oats
  • 3.4 oz black coffee
  • 10.6 oz strawberries
  • 7 oz coconut shavings

Instructions:

Step 1. Transfer the soft butter to a large bowl. Add cocoa, vanilla sugar, and oats. Brew the 3.4 ounces of black coffee—the stronger it is, the more intense its flavor in the cake. Let it cool, and add it to the butter mixture. Mix until the ingredients are combined. I use a dough hook attachment, but you can knead the dough by hand.

Step 2. Form a ball from the dough and wrap it in plastic wrap. Place it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Step 3. Meanwhile, wash, dry, and hull the strawberries. Once the dough has chilled, remove it from the refrigerator and unwrap it from the plastic wrap. Tear off pieces of dough, flatten them in your hands, place a strawberry inside, and cover it with the dough, forming a ball.
