Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were among Hollywood's most popular power couples over a decade ago. Later, their paths diverged amidst scandal, and according to media reports, the actor lost contact with his daughter Suri over a decade ago. Although Tom and Katie remain in the film industry, it seems their daughter has kept her distance from show business so far.
It's difficult for her to stay anonymous, given that her parents are among the most prominent actors in the industry. Consequently, Suri has been the focus of persistent paparazzi, who have followed her from a young age. Every now and then, photographers capture the teenager alongside her famous mom or, recently, with her beloved.
The last few months have undoubtedly been pivotal for Suri, as she first prepared for her school prom and was later photographed by reporters at her graduation ceremony. Yet, the changes in her life are far from over.
Suri Cruise has abandoned her father's surname
The Daily Mail reported that the surname "Cruise" was missing from her graduation diploma. The teenager is now said to be using the nickname "Noelle," a clear homage to her mother, Katie Holmes, whose middle name is Noelle. This is not the first time the 18-year-old has used it. The site indicates that as early as December when playing the role of Morticia Addams in a school play, she was credited as "Suri Noelle."
Is this the final blow for Tom Cruise? Remember that while his daughter received her graduation diploma, he attended a Taylor Swift concert.
