A few years ago, Debever confessed via social media that Depardieu molested her on the film set of "Danton," directed by Andrzej Wajda, which had been released in 1983. Essentially, Depardieu allegedly touched her inappropriately under her dress during scene preparations. At this time, Debever was around 18 to 19 years old.
The film "Danton" was a significant milestone in Emmanuelle Debever's brief acting career. In Wajda's drama, she portrayed the wife of the title character. Her last appearance on a film set was in the late 80s.
It's worth noting that a rape case is currently underway in court against Gerard Depardieu, accused by actress Charlotte Arnould. Meanwhile, new allegations against the actor are emerging in the media. In response, Depardieu penned an open letter addressed to "Le Figaro," titled "I finally want to tell you the truth," in which he denies all allegations.
