The preliminary cause of the Su-34 crash was considered a technical failure, according to the Russian defense ministry. The Kremlin news agency, RIA Novosti, reported that representatives of the Russian air force commission arrived at the scene.
The Ukrainian portal rbc.ua published a video on Telegram in which a loud bang, resulting from the machine striking the ground, can be heard.
