"International law also allows Ukraine to attack military targets on the territory of the Russian aggressor" - claims the chairwoman of the defense committee in the German Bundestag, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann. She called for the immediate delivery of German Taurus maneuvering missiles to Ukraine.

- We should immediately deliver the Taurus now, because thanks to the use of maneuvering missiles, the Ukrainian army can seriously disrupt Russian supplies - said Strack-Zimmermann to the newspapers of the Funke media group on Saturday.

She warned Chancellor Olaf Scholz not to wait any longer with the delivery, which has been talked about for half a year. In the opinion of the German politician, "too much delay can also prolong the suffering."

It is also necessary to accept the fact that Kiev may attack targets in Russia using German maneuvering missiles - said Strack-Zimmermann.

- International law also allows Ukraine to attack military targets on the territory of the Russian aggressor. This is completely independent of where the weapon was produced and who delivered it - she argued. She added that this also applies to Crimea, through which most supplies for the Russian army are organized.
