Yeferson Soteldo came up with an original idea in the match between Santos and Vasco. The striker's displays did not please one of the opponents. Not much time passed and the nonchalant 26-year-old ended up off the field.

Santos FC faced Vasco in a Brazilian league match. The heated clash ended with a 4:1 victory for the hosts. Most of the goals, sufficient to earn full points, were scored in the first half. After the break, they added one more goal and in this way they completed the demolition of the opponent.

The second half was marked by negative emotions. Referee Anderson Daronco showed red cards to three players. There was quite a commotion on the pitch and a group of footballers were sent to the locker room prematurely.

One of the front-runners in the match was Yeferson Soteldo. The 27-year-old Santos forward scored one of the four goals for Santos. After the break, he even scored a second time against Vasco, but the goal was not recognized due to offside.

In Yefferson Soteldo, the South American blood started to boil. The Venezuelan got a bit carried away and decided to stand on the ball in one of the actions.

The striker put on a show, which can be counted as a plus for him. Another matter is that such circus-like displays also serve to ridicule opponents. Balancing on the ball will neither speed up the action, nor help in scoring a goal.

The recording available on social media shows that the revenge was painful. The opponent from Vasco - Pablo Vegetti ruthlessly pushed Yefferson Soteldo off the field in one of the next actions on the side of the field. This infuriated the players on Santos' reserve bench. His foul appears to be in retaliation for the Venezuelan's earlier antics.

Time will tell whether the foul will discourage or paradoxically encourage Yefferson Soteldo to similar tricks in the future.
