This time, I'm bringing you an accomplished recipe for an exceptional salad that will impress both in taste and appearance. It's impossible to overlook such a combination!

A party isn't complete without salad

It wouldn't be out of line to say that party menus have their distinct norms. The cuisine served should be conveniently consumable and easily divided into smaller portions so every guest can savor the homemade treats. That is precisely why party tables seldom lack small sandwiches, mini rolls, and colorful skewers.

Salads, of course, seamlessly assimilate into the party menu. They have been our companions at all significant events - christenings, name day celebrations, housewarming parties, or festive family get-togethers. I have a genuine culinary gem that will ideally fill this role. It is filled with delicacies and brings tremendous joy in preparation.

Poultry:

  • 2 chicken fillets,
  • ¼ cup of olive oil,
  • 2 tablespoons of gyros seasoning.

Additional layers:

  • 1 red onion,
  • Approximately 5.30 oz cherry tomatoes,
  • 6 pickles,
  • 1 can of corn,
  • 1 head of lettuce,
  • A handful of black olives.

Dressing:

  • Approximately 8.45 oz Greek yogurt,
  • 1 garlic clove,
  • 1 cucumber,
  • 0.50 fl oz lemon juice,
  • Seasoning: salt and pepper.

Instructions:

  1. Initiate this recipe by prepping the chicken. Clean it thoroughly and dry it. Subsequently, slice the meat into smaller pieces, drizzle them with olive oil, and season with gyros spice.
  2. Refrigerate the seasoned meat for an hour, then sauté it lightly in a preheated pan until it turns golden brown.
  3. In the interim, get started on the remaining salad ingredients. Thoroughly clean the vegetables, peel them if necessary, and chop them into smaller pieces.
  4. Next, whip up a home-style dressing based on Greek yogurt. Stir together the yogurt, finely diced cucumber, lemon juice, a crushed clove of garlic, and seasonings. Ensure a thorough mix.
  5. Place a large bowl on the kitchen countertop. Arrange the pre-prepared pieces of chicken at the bottom.
  6. Layer the red onion, cherry tomatoes, pickles, and corn directly on the chicken.
  7. Top these layers with a generous spread of the homemade dressing. Finally, add a layer of lettuce and olives. Your extraordinary salad is ready. Enjoy your meal!
