Will they avoid tariffs?
The United Kingdom hopes that it will be possible to negotiate an agreement to avoid the imposition of new tariffs by the Trump administration. The U.S. President announced that he would make a decision on this matter on April 2.
"April 2 is a liberating day for our country. We’re getting back to some of the wealth that very, very foolish presidents gave away because they had no clue what they were doing," Trump said in mid-March.
