Stabbing in Haifa: One dead, police probe terrorist motives
In Haifa, in the north of Israel, a stabbing incident occurred near the main station. One person is dead, and four others were injured. The police suspect it was a terrorist attack.
The chief of police, Daniel Lewi, stated, "Officers are determining the attacker's identity and checking whether there are any more attackers in the area."
The attack resulted in the death of a man approximately 70 years old. A 30-year-old woman and man, along with a 15-year-old, were seriously injured, while a 70-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries.
Terrorist attack in Israel? Investigation is underway
Initially, Israeli media reported on two attackers: one was stabbing passersby with a knife, and the other was shooting at them.
Later, it was determined that the second person was most likely aiming at the attacker. The motives of the perpetrator are currently unknown.
