Spotify Wrapped 2024: Highlights and new features revealed

Spotify Wrapped is an annual music summary. Users of the streaming platform can discover which songs, artists, and podcasts they listened to the most over the year. The campaign has been ongoing since 2016 and has become an annual tradition and celebration for music fans. A core element of Spotify Wrapped is also the unique graphics. This year's Spotify Wrapped begins with the usual summary of the music we’ve listened to over the past 12 months. We receive information about the most frequently listened songs, the number of minutes spent playing music, and on which day and for how long we used the app the most. We also get a list of the top five artists that we listened to the most. Additionally, a few statistics reveal what percentage of other users listened to as much music as we did.

Among the pleasant new features, Spotify has prepared for us a comparison of our musical taste from three different months. The presented evolution shows which artists and genres were closest to our hearts at different times of the year. Finally, we receive a short video message from the singer, musician, or band that topped our Spotify Wrapped.
