On December 4, Spotify users received their individual music summaries for 2024. The platform also revealed who the most listened-to artist globally was. Once again, Taylor Swift topped the list, and fans received a small gift.

It’s likely no surprise that this year the esteemed title went to Taylor Swift. She was the most listened-to artist on the platform worldwide. The top 10 also included, in order: The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Drake, Billie Eilish, Travis Scott, Peso Pluma, Kanye West, Ariana Grande, and Feid.

A surprise for the singer's fans

Spotify offered a small surprise for Taylor Swift's fans. When you play her songs and press the play/pause button, cute icons appear around the "triangle." The animation varies depending on the album selected. For example, "Speak Now" shows purple fireworks, "Red" displays red leaves, "Midnights" has blue clouds, "Lover" features pink hearts, "The Tortured Poets Department" has papers, "Evermore" shows beige leaves, and "1989 (Taylor's Version)" displays birds.
