Special envoy Gen. Kellogg set for crucial Ukraine visit
On Thursday, a special envoy from the USA for Ukraine and Russia, Gen. Keith Kellogg, will visit Ukraine, announced Volodymyr Zelensky. The President of Ukraine noted that he would like to take him to the front line. "I don't think he will refuse," he added.
- We are waiting for Kellogg. We have an arrangement that he will come to us on February 20th and will be here for two days, maybe even more. I want to go to the front with him, and he will go to the front with me. I don't think he will refuse - said Zelensky in a conversation with journalists during his visit to the United Arab Emirates.
He expressed confidence that after returning to the United States, there would be clarity on the timing of his meeting with President Donald Trump.
Trump's envoy in Europe: Discussing Ukraine
General Kellogg stated during the security conference in Munich that he intends to gather European opinions.
He emphasized that at the negotiation table regarding Ukraine "there are two protagonists and a mediator." As he explained, the protagonists are Russia and Ukraine, and the United States is the mediator.
