Southport tragedy: Knife attack kills three girls and injures ten

On Monday, July 29, in the city of Southport in northwestern England, there was a knife attack. A 17-year-old attacked in a community center where dance classes were being held for young children.

As a result of the attack, three girls died. They were 6-year-old Bebe King, 7-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, and 9-year-old Alice Dasilva Aguiar. Eight other children were injured, with five in critical condition.

After the tragedy in Southport, there were riots in front of the local mosque. Police arrested four people.

City residents united to repair the damage, including the vandalized mosque walls. Jenni Stancombe, the mother of one of the victims, appealed for everyone inciting violence to calm down and leave their town.
