Solving this picture puzzle rapidly may indicate a high IQ

Using our cognitive abilities to solve picture puzzles, given just a few seconds to find a solution, can increase our perceptiveness. However, this isn't the only benefit of such pastimes. Choosing the correct piece is a common feature in many intelligence quotient tests. If you're quick to pick the image that fits with the rest, it could be an indicator of a high IQ.

Which image fits the set? Your answer might reveal a lot about you

If we're curious about our intelligence quotient, we can find plenty of tests on the internet to help us estimate it. The following puzzle might inspire someone to take a complete test.

The image was shared via the "Puzzles, Brain Teasers, and Fun" Facebook page. The image features eight graphics depicting girls' faces. Our task is to select the final, ninth likeness from four possible options. Take a good look and try to choose the correct answer as quickly as possible. Have you figured it out yet?

As it turns out, the correct answer is A - an image of a girl smiling with a red ribbon. All it takes is understanding how the images were arranged in the first two rows.

In each row, we see girls with varying expressions and differently colored ribbons. A detailed look at the upper rows shows that, in order to prevent the ribbon color and the emotion expressed by the character from repeating, only option A fits.
