Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 leak. Full specifications available
The Snapdragon Summit 2023 event kicks off on October 24th, during which Qualcomm is set to showcase its latest flagship chipset. However, many details about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 are already known.

The MSPoweruser service has come into possession of promotional graphics, which reveal the key technical parameters of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
When it comes to numbers, the system is to be made in a 4 nm lithographic process. Compared to the previous generation, the manufacturer declares a 30 percent more efficient and 20 percent more energy-saving CPU, and a 25 percent more efficient and energy-saving GPU.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is set to introduce generative artificial intelligence to smartphones
Smartphone users have already become enamored with services using generative artificial intelligence (e.g. ChatGPT, DALL-E, or Midjourney), but the vast majority of them operate in the cloud. Meanwhile, the promotional slogan for Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is "titan of on-device intelligence".
Apparently, Qualcomm wants smartphones to be capable of generating content (such as text, images or sounds) even without an internet connection. Android 14 already has a built-in tool that generates wallpapers based on a written description, and it is highly likely that in 2024, we will see a slew of flagships with this type of feature.
