The military transport aircraft, C27J Spartan, tasked with the evacuation, delivered 6,000 pounds of humanitarian aid to Beirut—primarily food, medicines, and bandages.

The plane is scheduled to make several stops in Larnaca, Cyprus, on Friday and part of Saturday. On Saturday, it will proceed to Prague, where 19 evacuees are expected to arrive before heading to Bratislava.

The Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that 31 Slovak citizens and over 40 individuals from other countries wish to leave Lebanon. Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar will provide further details about the evacuation operation on Saturday at Bratislava airport.
