A bizarre series of YouTube videos called "Skibidi toilet" has left viewers baffled, while simultaneously taking over the internet. But what exactly are they? Here's everything we know about them.
"Skibidi toilet" is a series of animated films on YouTube about singing toilet creatures that want to take over the world. It was created by Alexey Gerasimov, who uses the pseudonym DaFuq!?Boom!, and the first episode he authored appeared in February 2023.
The plot of "Skibidi Toilet" is not exceptionally complicated. The series is crazy, unpredictable, funny, and sometimes really disturbing. Growing in strength with each subsequent season, it tells the story of a fierce battle between the titular villains inhabiting toilets and their enemies: a group of revolutionaries with various devices on their heads, including televisions, cameras, and loudspeakers.
In each episode, one side gains the upper hand, only to lose it in the next - this is a strong commentary on the cyclical, brutally repetitive nature of war.

How was "Skibidi toilet" created?
The appearance of the main villains was drawn from the games "Half-Life 2" and "Counter-Strike: Source." Meanwhile, the theme song "Skibidi toilet" comes from the videos of a TikToker with the alias YasinCengiz [@yasincengiz38]. However, the inspiration for the entire series was the meme "skibidi dop dop yes yes" created by Paryss Bryanne.

"I made a parody of her meme 'skibidi dop dop yes yes'. The Skibidi video in the bathroom was random, based on an unexpected head popping out of the toilet" - DaFuqBoom told Dexerto.
DaFuqBoom also revealed that he uses Source Filmmaker to create his films. When asked why he chose this specific program, he said: "Easier access to various resources and a great interface. I know how to animate in Blender too, but the whole process, including lighting and rendering, would take three times as long".
It's worth noting that the absurd series has already seen a Polish version of the Skibidi Toilet song "Goni mnie". Although the whole thing was mainly created for a joke, warnings for parents are already appearing on the internet, stating that Skibidi Toilet is an exceptionally brutal production and should not be watched by children.
