Dramatic footage emerges from Russia

Concurrently, the internet saw the release of videos showcasing intense gunfire and explosions. The militants, initiating the conflict in Ingushetia, attempted to flee the encircled building by various means, including descending from windows using sheets knotted together.

As reported by Brief, the location experienced several explosions. "It's possible that up to six militants were taking cover in the apartment, with some appearing on the international most-wanted list. Investigations are underway to determine their possible connections to last year's assaults on a road police post in Kantyshev and police officers in Ziazikov-Yurt," a Telegram post stated.

Apartment balcony catches fire

Security forces have been targeting an apartment on the third floor of a building on this street, as relayed by a source to the TASS agency.

The balcony of the apartment burst into flames amid the gunfire.

Early Sunday at 1 AM Eastern Time, RIA Novosti reported that "active efforts to subdue the militants are ongoing." Currently, there are no reports of any injuries or casualties. Nonetheless, there are unconfirmed reports suggesting that the operation has concluded.
