Chaos reigns at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. People are trying to flee the country, and panic engulfs incoming passengers to the city under attack by Hamas. CNN reporter Nic Robertson has shared a disturbing video from the airport. - People are throwing themselves on the ground - he says in the video.

On Saturday (October 7) at dawn, thousands of rocket missiles were launched towards the southern and central parts of Israel. Hamas unexpectedly attacked the country, thus beginning the operation "Al-Aqsa Flood".

Palestinian group fighters have broken through from the Gaza Strip. In response, Israel has begun mobilizing its reservists. According to Israeli forces, battles are taking place in at least 22 locations. Hundreds of people have already died on both sides, and even more have been injured.

As reported by the newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth", airports in the central and southern parts of the country have been closed. Airlines, concerned about passenger safety, are making decisions to reroute or cancel flights.

On Saturday evening, CNN reporter Nic Robertson shared a report from the airport on Twitter. A moment after the journalist's flight landed, sirens wailed at the airport.

We literally just got off the plane at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. The sirens are wailing, passengers are taking cover. You can hear the explosions of rockets in the air. They're not flying in this direction, but people hit the ground. There's a lot of concern about what will happen tonight - Robertson says in the recording.

In the recording published by Robertson, terrified people can be seen lying down on the airport tarmac. Women are crying, taking refuge in the arms of their loved ones. The sight is shocking.
