Unusual scenes unfolded at JFK Airport in New York. On Sunday evening, October 22, 2022, a certain airplane (belonging to JetBlue) dangerously lifted off the ground and leaned back with force. All this happened while passengers were disembarking from the aircraft. We know the details.

"New York Post" is writing about a dangerous incident. It cites numerous photos and videos circulating on the web, originating straight from JFK Airport in New York (United States). The situation took place around 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2023, while passengers were disembarking from an Airbus A321.

Passengers on the JetBlue plane were traveling from Bridgetown to Barbados. As soon as they safely landed in New York, they began to leave the plane, as instructed by the crew.

Suddenly, something strange happened with the machine. The people gathered at the airport were rubbing their eyes in astonishment. They didn't know how the whole situation would end.

Upon arrival at the gate, due to a shift in weight and balance during disembarkation, the tail of the airplane tilted backwards, causing the front of the plane to lift and ultimately descend again – JetBlue spokesperson, Derek Dombrowski, told the "New York Post".

Specialist Dombrowski added that, fortunately, no one was hurt. He assured that the situation will be investigated. "Safety is JetBlue's top priority. We are analyzing this incident and the plane has been withdrawn from operation for inspection," he indicated.

As reported by "New York Post", before each flight, pilots calculate the weight and balance. This aims to determine the aircraft's center of gravity and ensure appropriate performance.

The total weight of the passengers and other contents, as well as their distribution, affects the position of the center of gravity - we read in "New York Post".
