Background noise includes chatter and screams. Local media describe how police officers were yelling at bystanders to stay away while an angry crowd shouted curses at the officers.

Manchester. Police officer kicked a man. The police responded

The police claim that the officers' behavior was a response to a brutal attack by the men. According to the explanation, services were called to the scene in connection with a dispute that had arisen between passengers. The officers were reportedly attacked while attempting to arrest one of the men.

As the attending officers were firearms officers, there was a clear risk during this assault of their firearms being taken from them - explained the police.

In the end, three officers were taken to the hospital, and one policewoman has a broken nose. Ultimately, the police arrested four men for fighting and assaulting emergency service workers.

According to the BBC, one officer has been suspended from duty. The police have stated that they are conducting an investigation into the officer's conduct.

We know that a film of an incident at Manchester Airport that is circulating widely shows an event that is truly shocking, and that people are rightly extremely concerned about - said a police spokesperson.
