The victim is Anatoliy Honcharenko, a resident of Smila and a Ukrainian soldier who served in a combat unit of the Special Operations Forces but was later demobilized for family reasons.
Honcharenko's involvement in the war is evident from his social media profile, which is filled with photos and videos of combat activities and preparations.
At the end of August, Anatoliy Honcharenko posted that he was looking for a car with foreign license plates. According to Honcharenko, the driver of this car caused an accident involving his parents.
The situation escalated further after Honcharenko made this post, leading to a scandalous incident. In a video shared on the website censoret.net, we see Honcharenko being repeatedly struck by a man.
The person attacking him is likely the driver of the car he was looking for.
An unknown man mocks the soldier and forces him to apologize because, according to the attacker, "he compromised him with all his bravery." Furthermore, in the recording, the kneeling soldier affixes the license plates back onto the man's car. It emerged that Honcharenko had torn off these license plates from the car he was seeking, which sparked the conflict.

Honcharenko's apologies also appear in the same video that was recorded at another location. In it, he apologizes to the "boys" and claims that his parents "were mistaken." Visible signs of beating are evident on his face in the same video.
It's worth noting that the residents of Smila quickly identified the person mocking the soldier and forcing him to apologize. The attacker was Vadim Dolotenko, who has connections to the criminal world.
Another person can be seen in the video, who, along with Dolotenko, strikes the soldier. However, the identity of this other perpetrator could not be determined.
