Operating in Kenya, the International Church of Good News was the sect led by Pastor Paul Mackenzie. Followers were promised an encounter with Jesus and eternal happiness, purportedly achieved through extreme fasting. Investigators have now uncovered mass graves filled with the bodies of the controversial religious leader's victims, causing nationwide shock and dismay in Kenya.

Police in the Malindi area have unearthed 112 bodies so far, most of which are children. However, investigations are still ongoing and the death toll is expected to rise. Pastor Paul Mackenzie has been arrested, and along with 24 other sect members, is awaiting the results of the ongoing excavation at the Shakahola forest, the site of the mass killings.

For several weeks, bodies of the International Church of Good News members have been exhumed from mass graves.

"Our team is in the second phase of the exhumation process, which we are proceeding with great caution and maintaining the privacy of victims' families. The government will provide all information related to the ongoing investigations" - Mr. Kithure Kindiki, the Kenyan Minister of Internal Affairs, reported.

Investigators first arrived at the Chakama ranch in the Shakahola forest in April and the investigation is still ongoing in the 123,553-acre area, which belonged to the sect. Pastor Mackenzie and his aides are believed to have caused the deaths of hundreds of people. Thankfully, some living church members have been found, with police rescuing 65 individuals.

Initial autopsies reveal shocking details. Some bodies are missing internal organs, suggesting a possible operation of an organ trading network. Investigators believe this operation involved the coordination of several entities. Additional information is hoped to be obtained from the sect members.

The isolated Chakama ranch likely hides more horrifying revelations for investigators. To prevent tampering with the ongoing investigations, sect members have been dispersed to various prisons across Kenya. This move will also assist attorneys in obtaining necessary information about Pastor Paul Mackenzie and his sect's activities.
