For years, the relationship between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has been a captivating subject for media worldwide. Fans of not only the actors themselves but also the films in which they co-starred were fascinated by their passionate love affair, adoptions of children, and dramatic separation.

The period of separation was particularly difficult for the couple. The children suffered during this time, becoming the subject of battles between the actors over parental rights.

Over eight years after the couple filed for divorce, their daughter Shiloh, who turns 18 this year, has added fuel to the fire. According to Fox News, she hired a lawyer and subsequently filed a request to remove the Pitt part of her surname.

The girl's decisive action is alleged to have been motivated by negative emotions and pain associated with Brad Pitt. She reportedly announced her decision through a notice in the Los Angeles Times. While confirming her name change, the teenager denies using the media to communicate this information.

Shiloh Jolie did not publish a 'notice' announcing any name change or any inaccurate press reports. As Shiloh's lawyer, I am required to publish the legal notice because California law mandates it for anyone who wants to change their name. This legal notice was published in the 'Los Angeles Times' as per the requirements - states Shiloh's lawyer, quoted by Fox News.
