Shifting sentiments: More Ukrainians consider peace with Russia
Ukrainians have spoken out regarding possible concessions to Russia in exchange for peace. A significant change has occurred.
According to "Ukrainian Pravda," by the end of 2024, the number of Ukrainians willing to make territorial concessions in the name of peace has increased. However, the percentage of those categorically opposed to any concessions has decreased.
From May to the beginning of October 2024, the situation remained unchanged, but from early October to December, there has been an increase from 32% to 38% in respondents willing to make certain territorial concessions.
The share of those categorically opposed to any concessions also decreased, with 51% of Ukrainians opposing any territorial concessions (down from 58% at the beginning of October).
