XXL oven-baked pancake
Instead of frying individual pancakes, you prepare one large rectangular pancake that fills the entire sheet pan. This way, you don't have to stand by the stove and cook in portions. Just prepare the batter, pour it into the pan, and place it in the oven.
Preparing the batter is very simple, and baking takes little time. You can even bake it the day before.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1.5 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
Additions:
- chocolate stars
- raspberries
- blueberries
- strawberries
Preparation method:
Step 1. Pour the flour into a bowl. Add sugar, baking powder, baking soda, oil, egg, and buttermilk, and mix until the mixture is uniform.
Step 2. Line the sheet pan with parchment paper and pour in the prepared batter. Place the toppings on top—fruits and pieces of chocolate. You can mix them together and spread them over the entire pancake or arrange them separately to create different flavors in each piece. Put it in a preheated oven at 350°F and bake for about 30 minutes.
Step 3. After baking, cut the pancake into pieces and enjoy it for breakfast, or take it to work or school. Enjoy!
