Hayley's troubles began a few months after her wedding. When she was just 17 years old, she met her future husband, Michael. In October 2010, the couple decided to get married. Unfortunately, their shared happiness was disturbed by Hayley's health problems. At that time, the 25-year-old woman began experiencing chest pains and severe nausea.

After many visits to the hospital, doctors diagnosed Hayley with vasculitis. They recommended steroid therapy, which could lead to weight gain. Hayley was so distressed about her incurable disease, she didn't care about the potential side effects of the drugs.

The woman spent several months on medical leave, avoiding work. Over time, the painful symptoms began to subside, but then Hayley began to feel a strong need to consume sugar and carbohydrates.

In the end, Hayley became addicted to eating chips every day. In addition to unhealthy snacks, she was also reaching for five cans of soda a day. Such large doses of sugar caused the woman to gain weight to a size XXL over the years.

Hayley tried many different diets, but she couldn't control her hunger. She was aware that her food addiction had led her to severe obesity.

"If vasculitis didn't kill me, my weight would have," - she admitted in an interview with "The Sun".

Hayley avoided looking at herself in the mirror and using public transportation, knowing she would struggle to fit into the bus seats. She often cancelled meetings with friends and family, which made her feel trapped. She was determined to lose weight, but she didn't know how to do it.

I couldn't get up from the chair, and I only bought clothes with elastic bands on the internet. I knew I needed a drastic change - she recalled.

In 2021, the doctor changed Hayley's treatment method, which allowed her to stop taking steroids. It was then that she decided to go on a diet, knowing that it was the best time.

Instead of consuming three thousand calories and large amounts of chips, she began eating four meals with a total value of 800 calories. She gave up carbonated drinks in favor of water. Thanks to immense motivation, in two months, she managed to lose almost 44 pounds.

I reduced the amount of meals and ate regularly. For breakfast oatmeal, soups for lunch, a salad with fish or chicken for dinner. In addition, about 0.5 gallons of water a day. By the holidays, I lost a total of 139 pounds - said Hayley.

This year, a 38-year-old woman decided to start exercising regularly. Previously, she used to go for long walks, but now she has decided on more intense workouts and signed up for a gym. Over time, Hayley returned to size L, and her friends were surprised by her extraordinary metamorphosis.
