She was a Playboy model. She quit her job and became a cleaner
Verena Twigg confessed that when she was a model, she lived a luxurious life. On more than one occasion, she partied with Hugh Hefner himself. She left her extravagant lifestyle to professionally devote herself to cleaning. She does not regret her decision.
Beauty pageants, photo shoots, banquets, and parties. Until recently, this was the life that Verena Twigg led. The model decided to permanently break away from her past and took on entirely different work. Today, she feels fulfilled and has no intention of returning to her old world.
She had contact with American stars. Today she cleans people's houses
Verena Twigg is 45 years old today. In an interview with "Fabulous" magazine, she revealed that although her life was filled with luxury, she decided to quit her modeling career. How does she remember those times after all these years?
"I used to wear beautiful, skimpy clothes. Sometimes I wore nothing at all. It was great fun. One person would do my makeup, another my hair. I haven't been a model for 10 years. Since then, I'm no longer in the spotlight and I lead a quiet life"- she admitted.
Today she lives in northwest England, where she started her own cleaning company. She emphasizes that she now prefers quiet walks in nature over partying.
"The world of models can be nasty"
Although Verena generally has positive memories of her time in modeling, she also has a litany of less pleasant experiences from that time. The model emphasizes that in this job, our weight is constantly commented on.
"I wore a size 8 and it was right for me. I had some curves and was a bit more sensual. Fashion designers wanted me to lose weight for work" - she revealed.
Twigg underwent her first plastic surgery at the age of 21. She then increased her bust size from 34AA to 34C. Later, she decided to have another procedure to increase her size to 34F. That's when she started participating in more beauty contests. The first proposals for lingerie and topless sessions also began to appear. However, the most groundbreaking event was her trip to Los Angeles, where she started working at the Playboy mansion. Thanks to modeling, she got to see a bit of the United States. Later, she founded her own agency. However, her life looks completely different today.
"Although I would really like to visit Los Angeles again, for now I am really happy with being a housekeeper and living in a house with my man - this is my Chihuahua Ralphie" - she added.
