She wanted to look beautiful. The result is dramatic

A mother of three children simply wanted to feel better about herself, which is why she opted for permanent eyebrow makeup. Unfortunately, the procedure had an entirely opposite effect. The woman is now embarrassed to show herself in public.

A Canadian running the "Bert and Gert" profile on TikTok wanted to improve her appearance. To do this, she went to a beauty salon, where she underwent a microblading treatment. This is a manual method of permanent eyebrow makeup that involves drawing hairs on the skin with a tiny blade.

This is what it looks like after a failed permanent eyebrow makeup

The woman desired a natural eyebrow thickening effect. She didn't expect the seemingly non-invasive procedure to end in trauma for her. For the past two weeks, she has been sharing her unpleasant beauty enhancement experience on TikTok.

"Can someone tell me that this is normal and that it will pass?" - she said in the first video recorded after the procedure, covering her eyebrows with her hand. When she lowered her hand, Internet users saw horribly swollen eyelids and the area around her eyes.

The situation seemed serious enough that TikTok users under the video advised her to go to the ER as soon as possible, as it was likely a severe allergic reaction had occurred. The woman listened and went to the hospital, where she received antibiotics and antihistamines.

Fortunately, after a few days, the swelling began to subside. The effects of the ineptly performed procedure, however, remained in the form of overly dark eyebrows, completely mismatched to the face.

The mother of three children wanted to feel better in her own body, but instead was ashamed to leave her house. Not even heavy makeup could hide the botched procedure.

Thanks to highlighting her issue on social media, the Canadian woman came across a specialist, who offered her laser pigmentation removal. Luckily, her eyebrows look better now. The TikToker is now warning about using the services of unverified beauty salons.
