Serbian capital stirs controversy with Trump-Musk posters

In the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, on Monday, posters appeared with the slogan "Make Serbia great again," depicting the U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk.

The right-wing organization "Naszi," inspired by a Russian group of the same name, claimed responsibility for printing and displaying the posters.

In addition to the images of Trump and Musk, the posters featured a map of the so-called Greater Serbia—a concept supported by local nationalists who aim to unite Serbs from Serbia and neighboring countries.

The Association of Electronic Media of Serbia cautioned that these actions could exacerbate national tensions. It stressed the importance of carefully discussing historical subjects in public, particularly in a multi-ethnic area such as the Balkans.

On Sunday, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, spoke with the U.S. election winner. Vučić invited Trump to Serbia, describing it as the country where support for his election was the highest in Europe, as he publicly announced.

During the call, Elon Musk, an American billionaire associated with Trump, also participated, as revealed by President Vučić on Monday.
