"Red, White & Royal Blue," published in 2020, quickly won over fans with the romantic tension between Prince of Wales Henry and the President of the USA's son, Alex. The novel taps into contemporary trends and revisits classic literary tropes—two lovers separated by their circumstances. Once, it was a social chasm; today, its societal conventions are different yet remarkably similar at their core.

Last year, the "Red, White & Royal Blue" adaptation premiered on Amazon Prime. Nicholas Galitzine ("Bottoms," "The Idea of You," "Chambers") brought Prince Henry to life, while Taylor Zakhar Perez ("The Kissing Booth" 2 and 3) portrayed Alex. Following the film's success, Amazon Prime officially announced the sequel to the story of the British prince and the American first son.

Excitement builds as "Red, White & Royal Blue" sequel announced

Amazon Prime teased the sequel with a brief announcement. A poster appeared on the platform's social media, void of a title but unmistakable to fans of "Red, White & Royal Blue."

A broken cake in the teaser image references an iconic scene from the first movie. The cake, adorned with flags representing Alex and Henry and a candle marked "two," hints at the continuation of the contemporary aristocrats' story.

With work on the second part of "Red, White & Royal Blue" underway, Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez are set to reprise their roles. Fans can look forward to once again diving into this couple's love story, navigating a maze of contradictions and challenges.
