According to "The Sun," they set aside a staggering 15 thousand pounds for this purpose; that's over $21,000! MTV affirmed that the brothers covered all costs individually.

Mike and Matt claim that this transformation boosted their self-esteem and piqued the interest of the opposite sex. Through interviews, they encouraged others to change their appearance if it would alleviate their insecurities.
"I feel great thanks to the few procedures I've had. If you're unhappy with your appearance, consider plastic surgery because you shouldn’t have to go through life feeling bad about how you look." – Mike asserted on the show.
