President Steinmeier emphasized that anyone who applauds terror not only degrades the victims, but also tramples human dignity and our German constitution. These strong words of the president were published on the Tagesschau portal on Monday.

Steinmeier did not hide his outrage and terror, saying: "Such behavior horrifies me, it disgusts me". He expressed these emotions during an event that took place at Bellevue Palace, the residence of the President of Germany, located in the country's capital, Berlin.

On Saturday afternoon, there was a disturbing incident. A group of men with Palestinian flags were handing out sweets on Sonnenallee, a street often referred to as "Arab Street," to celebrate terrorist attacks on Israel. The Samidoun Organization, which is behind this action, posted pictures on Instagram documenting this campaign.

Not only did President Steinmeier express his outrage at these actions. The Israeli Ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, also criticized this operation. - Now Berlin must wake up so that Samidoun does not turn Berlin into a second Gaza - the diplomat said, quoted by the tagesschau portal. According to the ambassador, the German capital must take measures to prevent further such incidents.
