As soon as we enter drugstores, we're greeted by countless shampoos and conditioners promising healthy and beautiful hair. However, we've often found that they're not the only key to success. Sometimes, it's worth trying something natural to truly rejuvenate our hair without unnecessary chemicals.

Dry and split ends are a nightmare for many women. If you can't control them, there's no need to spend a fortune on expensive cosmetics or resort to a drastic cut. A homemade beer and banana mask is a great hack for dry and damaged hair. It will help your hair regain its former shine, leaving no trace of unsightly ends.

As the name suggests, the primary ingredients are banana and beer. Banana contains potassium, calcium, iron, zinc, and vitamins A, B, C, and E, which effectively smooth and nourish the hair structure. Meanwhile, the antioxidants in beer will protect the hair against harmful external factors and chemical substances. The egg yolk and honey in the mask are vitamin bombs. They fill in gaps in the strands with proteins, smoothing, moisturizing, strengthening, and adding elasticity and softness to our tresses.

How to make a beer and banana mask?

Creating a homemade mask takes just a moment, and the results can be surprising. You'll only need four ingredients to prepare it. Simply crack an egg yolk into a bowl and beat it. Then, add a well-mashed or blended banana. Next, add about 3.4 fl oz of beer and 2 tablespoons of honey, mixing everything thoroughly until it's smooth and even.

Apply the prepared mixture along the strands, then put on a shower cap or wrap your hair with a thin fabric. Leave it on for an hour, and afterward, rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water. For better results, it's worth using the mask twice a week.
