Ingredients:
- 3 bananas
- 1 oz of cocoa
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 9 oz of oat flakes
- 7 oz of melted dark chocolate
- 1.5-2 oz of peanuts for sprinkling
Instructions:
Step 1. Begin by preparing the bananas. First, peel them then blend them into a smooth mass in a bowl. Afterward, add the cinnamon and cocoa.
Mix the ingredients using a kitchen spatula.
Step 2. Next, pour the oat flakes into a hot frying pan and heat them for a few minutes. Stir occasionally with a wooden spoon.
After a few minutes, transfer the toasted flakes to the banana mixture and stir everything together until well-combined.
Step 3. Get a large plate and a round cake ring ready on the counter. Mould half of the mixture into the base of the cake in the ring. Then, add a layer of banana slices on top.
But it doesn't stop there. It's time to add the third component - another layer of the banana-oat mixture.
Step 4. Time for the stove again. Now, roast the peanuts in the hot frying pan until they turn a slight golden color.
Step 5. Back to the cake, prepare a melted dark chocolate glaze in a double boiler. Pour it over the cake, spreading evenly. Sprinkle the toasted peanuts as decoration.
Finally, chill the cake in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Step 6. All done! Enjoy your meal!
