According to NBC News, these warnings are necessary as the Santa Ana winds will lead to hazardous conditions from Monday to Wednesday in areas such as the San Gabriel Mountains, Santa Monica Mountains, Santa Clarita Valley, and the coasts and valleys of Ventura County.

The most dangerous conditions are anticipated from Monday evening to Tuesday afternoon. During this time, the combination of Santa Ana winds, low humidity, and dry vegetation could result in rapid fire spread. Warnings specifically target Los Angeles and Ventura counties, where wind gusts could reach up to 81 mph.
