Sandra Bullock's quiet tribute to late partner Bryan Randall
Although they were never married, Sandra Bullock spoke of photographer Bryan Randall as the "love of her life." They had been in a relationship since 2015 and never decided to marry formally. Together, they raised three children. For many years, they kept secret that Randall was battling an incurable illness. Today marks one year since his passing.

On August 5, 2023, Randall's family informed the media of his death, emphasizing that Bryan passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
At Randall's request, his loved ones never previously disclosed information about the illness. In a posthumous statement, they expressed immense gratitude to the "tireless doctors and incredible nurses" who supported the family during these difficult times.
A difficult road to the greatest love
Sandra Bullock divorced her first husband, Jesse James, in 2010 after five years of marriage. It was an exceptionally nightmarish period for her. She learned that her husband led a double life shortly after receiving an Oscar. She fell from the pinnacle to rock bottom in a single day. Every week, new faces of James's mistresses appeared in the gossip press, with whom he was said to be meeting during his marriage to Sandra. To make matters worse, Jesse began threatening Bullock that he would... publish their sex tapes!
She met Bryan Randall in January 2015 at her adopted son's birthday party. The spark between them was immediate, but they decided to walk the red carpet together only in October 2015 during the premiere of her film "Our Brand Is Crisis."
For the following years, Bullock gladly spoke about Randall, calling him the "love of her life." Together, they raised three children: Randall's daughter from a previous relationship and Bullock's adopted son and daughter.
—He is the role model I want for my children— Bullock said of Randall several years ago. —I don't always agree with him, and he doesn't always agree with me. But even then, he is an example to follow.
In March two years ago, Bullock stepped back from acting. She wanted to spend time with the ailing Bryan and their children. Now her friends report to the media that Sandra is a full-time mom, attending children's games, and riding bikes with them. Is she open to new love? "She still cherishes the memory of Randall in her heart."
