Salad with burrata and nectarine
Combining sweet, grilled nectarines, creamy burrata, nuts, and arugula makes for a unique dish. Pecan nuts add a crunchy texture, making each bite the perfect balance between sweetness, spiciness, creaminess, and crunchiness. Here, everything just fits.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 nectarines
- 2 ounces pecan nuts
- 4 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 burratas
- 3 ounces arugula
- basil leaves
- chili flakes for sprinkling
Preparation:
Step 1: Cut the nectarines into eighths, removing the pit. Melt the butter on a grill pan or grill plate and place the sliced fruit. Grill on both sides until they start to brown. You can also do this in a regular pan.
Step 2: In a large bowl, place the washed and dried arugula. Arrange the grilled nectarines and drained burrata. Add the pecan nuts and drizzle with olive oil and honey. You can substitute pecan nuts with walnuts.
Step 3: Finally, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with chili flakes. The simple salad with burrata and nectarine is now ready. Enjoy!
