Ruud surprises by seeking tickets after Olympic disappointment

Casper Ruud was disappointed during the 2024 Olympic Games, and it wasn't just because of his quarterfinal loss in the singles tournament. The Norwegian had to contact the event organizers on social media due to an issue encountered on the official website.

It has been a week since the official opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Numerous medals have already been awarded, and each day we are getting closer to the end of the most significant event of this year and the quadrennial.

Thursday, August 1st, was a sad day for Norwegians. This was due to the loss of their compatriot Casper Ruud. The tennis player, seeded number six, was one of their medal hopes, yet somewhat unexpectedly, he was eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Ruud had to acknowledge the superiority of the lower-ranked Canadian, Felix Auger-Aliassime. The tennis players fought a fierce battle lasting nearly three hours. Ultimately, Auger-Aliassime triumphed 6-4, 6-7(8), 6-3, advancing to the medal zone, which means he will play two more matches with a chance to stand on the podium.

It seems that the Norwegian tennis player wanted to attend the golf competition on Friday, August 2nd, at least according to his post on social media. However, an unexpected issue arose, causing him to contact the Olympic Games organizers from his official account on X.

Hey @Olympics would it be possible to have 3 tickets for the golf event tomorrow? The athletes website for ticketing is down.. Thank you in advance!" - Ruud's post read.

Meanwhile, another organizational mishap appears to have occurred in the French capital. It's worth noting that such issues have not been uncommon during this major event.
