Since Sunday evening, Russia has launched intense attacks on Ukraine, involving approximately 150 drones, missiles, and aerial bombs. These attacks have impacted more than 10 regions of the country, as President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on Monday.
"Since Sunday evening, Russia has used about one and a half hundred drones, bombs, and missiles against over 10 of our regions. We are still working on shooting down targets that remain in the air," Zelensky wrote on Telegram.
On Monday, rescue operations continued following the morning missile attack on Kharkiv, which injured at least 19 people.
In Zaporizhzhia, an attack by dozens of drones resulted in a child being injured. Odessa was also targeted, and damage was caused by falling missile fragments.
Zelensky emphasized that "Russian attacks on Ukrainian lives can be stopped." He highlighted the need for pressure, sanctions, and blocking Russia's access to components used in the production of tools for terror.
The President of Ukraine also called for aid packages containing weapons and unwavering determination in the fight against the aggressor.
