Russia's Black Sea fleet loses new missile corvette "Cyclone"

Platenczuk said that all personnel may have been affected. They are verifying the remaining information, but the Black Sea Fleet in Crimea may have lost its last cruise missile carrier. He also emphasized the need to wait for official confirmation of this information.

Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, the Russian Navy ship "Cyclone" was likely hit by a missile, which is a carrier of "Kalibr" missiles.
The ship likely sank. Six soldiers of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation were reportedly killed, and 11 others were injured. The "Cyclone" - a Karakurt-class missile corvette - entered service in July 2023.
