According to Dmytro Pletenczuk, the head of the Southern Defense Forces' press center, the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation has likely lost another vessel. This time, Ukrainian forces purportedly captured the missile corvette "Cyclone."

Dmytro Pletenczuk commented on reports of damage to the Russian Navy ship "Cyclone" in Sevastopol.

Platenczuk said that all personnel may have been affected. They are verifying the remaining information, but the Black Sea Fleet in Crimea may have lost its last cruise missile carrier. He also emphasized the need to wait for official confirmation of this information.

Attack in Sevastopol

Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, the Russian Navy ship "Cyclone" was likely hit by a missile, which is a carrier of "Kalibr" missiles.

The ship likely sank. Six soldiers of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation were reportedly killed, and 11 others were injured. The "Cyclone" - a Karakurt-class missile corvette - entered service in July 2023.
