Galina Zuyeva, the head of the local administration, confirmed the discovery to the Russian service "Caucasian Knot". She noted that the rescue services had been alerted.

Interestingly, the rescue services of the Jeleński region, along with the Ministry for Extraordinary Situations in Volgograd, denied knowing about the find. They asserted that no such report had been received.

The agency mentioned that this is not the first incident involving the falling of "flying objects" in Russia since the commencement of the war in Ukraine.

Another "loss" for the Russians?

On December 31, 2022, metal fragments of an unidentified object that had fallen from the sky were discovered in a field in the Rudnya region of Volgograd. Locals shared on social media that these were the remains of a rocket.

On October 17, 2022, a Su-34 plane crashed into a nine-story residential building in Yeisk, resulting in 16 fatalities.

On April 7, 2022, residents of the village of Frolov in the Rostov region found that part of their residential building's wall had been destroyed by a fallen rocket. Fortunately, the rocket did not detonate and was safely dealt with by sappers.
