Russian troops brace for major losses in Kherson assault
The Ukrainian-Tatar resistance movement, Atesh, has obtained information that Russia is preparing for an assault in the Kherson region. Russian soldiers have received special instructions to assist in the potential identification of casualties.
On Monday, partisans from the Atesh group published information on their official Telegram channel indicating that the command is preparing for an assault and expects significant personnel losses.
It was reported that Russian soldiers have been instructed to write their details (name, personal number, date of birth) on a piece of paper, which should be placed in the sleeve.
Each soldier is required to keep it with them at all times. This is intended to facilitate identification in the event of injuries or death.
A special commission of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Kherson region
A commission from the Russian Ministry of Defense arrived at the occupied territory of the Kherson region, specifically to the motorized rifle regiment of territorial troops, as reported by the Ukrainian-Tatar resistance movement Atesh at the end of December.
"According to our data, the visit of the commission is directly related to issues we reported earlier: the increasing number of cases of sabotage of floating units and suicides among military personnel. These incidents undermine the discipline and combat effectiveness of the units, and the Russian command views them as a serious threat. They are convinced that this could thwart the plans for the Russian military offensive on the right bank of the Kherson region," it was reported.
The Russian command fears that this situation could seriously disrupt the offensive plans of the Russian military on the right bank of the Kherson region.
