Russian reporter battling hurricane becomes unexpected internet sensation

A Russian television report recently broadcasted an unusual depiction of the ongoing hurricane in Crimea. The journalist, seemingly a propagandist, found herself nearly blown away by the forceful wind. Ukrainians found this spectacle amusing, branding the female reporter a "walking meme," as reported by "Channel24".

The Crimean Peninsula, currently occupied by Russians, experienced a powerful storm last week. The hurricane uprooted trees and damaged buildings, with Yevpatoriya near the Black Sea bearing the brunt due to widespread flooding.

The spectacle of Russian propagandists struggling on television

The Ukrainian news website, "Channel24," detailed the unsettling situation in the port city with gleeful satisfaction on Tuesday, November 28.

"Even the weather seems displeased with the Russian invaders in Crimea, appearing to want to cast them out," commented Ukrainian journalists.

The center of attention was the Russian propagandist Anna Capajeva, who works for the local television station "Crimea 24". Sent to the western coast of the Crimean Peninsula, she was tasked with creating a brief segment for a news program.

Despite the raging hurricane, Capajeva bravely undertook her duty. Although she assured the camera that reporting during "apocalyptic" conditions was a practice she was accustomed to, her terrified facial expression suggested otherwise.

The forceful wind tore at her words, thwarted her ability to stand still, and made her struggle to get her message across. Segments of the report quickly spread through Ukrainian social media, bringing smiles to the faces of a nation under the threat of Russian aggression.

"The storm's disruption will soon be replaced by the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. There's no doubt that in the near future, there will be no sign of the Russians in Crimea. They'll be eradicated once the Ukrainian Armed Forces set foot on the peninsula," wrote the hopeful journalists from 24tv.ua.
