Russian politician confesses publicly to murdering his wife

Russian politician Evgeny Nikolsky claims to be responsible for the murder of his wife. He accused her of infidelity before allegedly stabbing her, subsequently confessing to the crime on social media.

Evgeny Nikolsky, a politician from the Tver region northwest of Moscow, is now notorious across Russia for a deeply disturbing reason.

It is reported that he murdered his wife on a Saturday, driven by jealousy.

Details of the murder

According to the Baza channel on Telegram, an argument fueled by jealousy led Nikolsky to stab his wife, Ekaterina Nikolskaya, in the neck.

During the altercation, Nikolsky's brother-in-law attempted to intervene but was assaulted by the enraged politician. In defense, the brother-in-law struck Nikolsky in the head with a tire jack.

What lies ahead for Nikolsky?

Russian media have confirmed the arrest of the murderer. Meanwhile, Baza reported on Telegram that the politician has been hospitalized.

Now facing charges for his wife’s murder, Nikolsky committed a heinous act against the mother of his daughter, who will turn one year old on May 12th.
