On social media, a video surfaced featuring a Russian pilot who was shot down but managed to eject. He filmed his and his aircraft's fall using his phone.

Russia continues to intensify its military actions to break the Ukrainian defense. Meanwhile, Ukraine strives to take the initiative on the battlefield as quickly as possible, relying on military support from the United States and other allies. Ukraine also faces a challenging economic and financial situation, adding an extra burden during the war.

Russian pilots play a key role in the war operations in Ukraine. Their tasks, concerns, and decisions significantly impact the course of the conflict.

As Ukrainian Air Force Commander General Mykola Oleschuk stated, Ukrainian forces hunt Russian planes daily. Recently, they targeted them from a distance of over 93 miles.

Anton Herashchenko, an advisor to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, shared on social media a recording showing a Russian pilot who was shot down but managed to eject.

He filmed him and his plane falling on his phone. Because the ejection took place above the clouds and at a significant altitude, it could be a pilot of a Su-30/Su-35 fighter or a Su-34 bomber.

Judging by the pilot's calm behavior, the plane was shot down deep in the rear of Russia, the politician emphasizes.

The Russians showed off their planes

In April, the Russians showcased the receipt of new Su-35 fighters incorporated into their armed forces. It is worth noting that the number of machines delivered by the Rostec corporation was not disclosed, but the recording shows only two units.

This is similar to the delivery of the strike variant of the Su-34, which may indicate a production rate of two units per quarter, too low to replenish losses caused by Ukrainian and Russian air defense.
