Russian missile attack on Poltava leaves 22 injured, power outage
On June 17, the Russians struck civilian infrastructure in the Poltava region. Twenty-two people were injured, including three children. The missiles also hit a power line, leaving thousands of residents without electricity.

Regional authorities reported that as a result of the Russian missile attack on Poltava conducted on Monday, 22 people were injured. Among the injured were three children. Eight adults and one of the injured children were taken to the hospital, according to a statement from the head of Poltava regional authorities, Filip Pronin.
According to local authorities, the target of the Russian attack was civilian infrastructure. Preliminary information indicated that the aggressor's army used an air-launched Kh-59 cruise missile.
Authorities reported that "the enemy strike damaged power lines in the Poltava region. As a result, 53,000 households and 2,400 legal entities are without electricity."
The Ukrainian Pravda portal reports that residential buildings, a kindergarten, and other facilities were damaged.
